Adult Ballet performance opportunityWe will be including a Gershwin piece for our adult students and ALL levels and abilities are welcome to participate.
Beginners, don't be afraid. We will make sure you look gorgeous performing your debut on a Manhattan stage! St Jeans Theater, 150 E 76th Street You will need to purchase your own costume through the studio (we will try to keep it in the $60-$90 range. Going for a halter style neck with a gauzy long skirt that is universally flattering, but we’ve not picked a specific costume yet). There is a $72 production fee and you will receive 2 comp tickets to the performance. (Additional tickets can be purchased at the front desk closer to the performance). Rehearsal will take place on the following dates (run throughs take place immediately following Weds evening class): Mon, Jun 23* from 6:30-8pm Wed, Jun 25* from 5:30-6:30 Wed, Jul 2 8:30-8:45 run through Wed, Jul 9 8:30-8:45 run through Wed, Jul 16 8:30-8:45 run through Wed, July 23 8:30-8:45 run through Wed, July 30 8:30-8:45 run through Wed, Aug 6 8:30-8:45 run through Wed, Aug 13 8:30-8:45 run through Thurs, Aug 14 performance, 4pm cast call at St Jeans/5:30 tentative show time ** *All choreography will be set on these two rehearsals so they would be most important to attend ** the cast call time is subject to change and may be as early as 3pm depending on how much blocking time the cast wants If you’d like to participate, please register with the front desk no later than Jun 20 by submitting your $72 production fee.
